Sweet Dreams
I'm two and a half days away from leaving for the States (West Coast) for a two-week vacation within a vacation. If anybody out there wants to convince me that it is very much different from what I see on the Jerry Springer Show, please feel free to comment now. KIDDING. It'll be my first time in the States, but I'll probably (crossing my fingers) be there one more time this year to take the Step 2 (Clinical Skills) of the Licensure Exam. I'm equal parts excited and frightened, which pretty much is what I felt before I went to Europe. Do you guys think it'll be more or less fun? Actually, that's not fair, since I haven't yet told my Europe stories, where I had a blast. And I wasn't even much of a food-lover back then.
On a kind of sad note, though, that means I will have to regulate writing for this blog to... A degree that is about normal for all my other blogging friends :p (except Allen.) I'll also have to figure out a way to restrain myself from commenting after every person. It's addictive but I don't get much done waiting for new e-mail to arrive, heh. I still want to make it a point to comment as much as I can on everyone else's blogs and to bug Graeme from time to time. It's a way of life, you know.
I know this is late but I wanted to share with you my favorite food posts of my own from the last almost-one year that I've been blogging. Every item is special since I learned something new from the experience, but hey, I can't include all of them. Please feel free to comment (and maybe even give me some more tips on how I can spend my time in Los Angeles and San Francisco), I'm staying at my cousin's house and I can answer e-mail anyway. What can I buy that can only be found overseas? Hmm... I would actually like a pizza peel but I don't know how it can pass through customs without me feeling like a BDSM hero. I hope I can try out going to the market, maybe a trial run of how I can maybe fix myself some meals and still contribute to this blog even when I'm not in the comfort of my own home with a great stove and (okay) oven.
And some savory dreams:
